THE MACAULAY CULKIN SHOW: Two-Year Anniversary Show

  • Shea Stadium 20 Meadow Street United States (map)

DOORS @7PM / SHOW @8PM

The Macaulay Culkin Show is an ill-conceived idea full of other ill-conceived ideas. Brett Davis & Sally Burtnick have been hosting Culkin (a comedy show that's hard to explain due to absolutely no connection to Macaulay Culkin) at a venue called Shea Stadium (which also takes some explanation) for two years now.

Sometimes people come to the show thinking that the actor will be there. Sometimes they come and get scared because someone is barking at them or threw an ice cream sandwich at their face. Sometimes an audience member is asked to talk about their most personal/sexual secrets or is given an impromptu bat mitzvah and pizza party (thanks Jo).

Nazis have invaded the show. We've crowned a prom king and queen. One time Joe Pera performed outside on a jet ski, and Colin Burgess ran to a bodega four minutes away mid-set in the same show. One time Chris Gethard dressed up like Brock Lesnar on a WrestleMania-themed show happening at the same time as WrestleMania. We've had stand-up, sketch, music, performance art, comedy legends, almost all of the people that were hired for SNL in 2013. We've had a bunch more that will probably be there or somewhere else great someday very soon.

Help us celebrate two years of ill-conceived ideas with:
JD AMATO (The Chris Gethard Show)
COLIN BURGESS (Parental Approval)
JOHN EARLY (Wet Hot American Summer)
BRIDEY ELLIOTT (Fort Tilden)
ANA FABREGA (Comedy Central, IFC)
GOOD COP GREAT COP (New Timers)
JACQUELINE NOVAK (Late Late Show)
CONNER O'MALLEY (Late Night with Seth Meyers)
GARY RICHARDSON & JOHN REYNOLDS (IFC, Holy Fuck)

Plus it's only $5. Doors at 7pm! Show at 8pm!
