On Friday, October 9th, Brooklyn’s answer to the late night talk show, NOT QUITE MIDNIGHT, holds it’s Autumn show at Pine Box Rock Shop with a star-studded lineup. Hosts Courtney Maginnis and Chris Calogero will introduce their favorite comedians for short performances, then take them to couch to get to the bottom of their jokes.
Not Quite Midnight is a unique take on a traditional setup, and on October 9th, it will feature:
Nick Vatterott (Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Comedy Central, 2011 Winner of the Andy Kaufman Award)
Langston Kerman (Just For Laughs Festival)
Colin Michael Fitzgerald Burgess (The Special Without Brett Davis, Parental Approval show)
Selena Coppock (Vh1, McSweeney’s, Author “The New Rules for Blondes”)
Corey Reppond (Writer for Someecards)
And TJ Young (Comedy Central, Adult Swim, MSN.com)
With announcer Steve Whalen and one-man late night band Steven DeSiena, NOT QUITE MIDNIGHT is the kitschy, self-aware version of a late night talk show. But live. And amidst the worn out warehouses of Bushwick. And at the very reasonable hour of 8 PM.
